Connect your AI client
AdPilot MCP exposes a remote MCP server for your workspace. After OAuth, your assistant can call AdPilot tools with your apps, synced data, skills, enforced limits, and audit history.

Find your endpoint
On Home or MCP Clients, copy the MCP URL. It looks like:
https://your-domain.example/mcp
Every authorized client shares that endpoint. Access is scoped by OAuth—not by a shared API key you paste into chat.
OAuth in short
- You add the MCP URL in your AI client.
- The client opens AdPilot’s authorization screen.
- You approve access for that client.
- The client appears on MCP Clients, where you can revoke it anytime.
Agents should never ask you to paste private keys or provider credentials into chat.
ChatGPT
- Open ChatGPT settings for connectors / MCP (wording varies by plan).
- Add a custom MCP server with your AdPilot URL.
- Complete the OAuth flow when prompted.
- Start a chat and ask AdPilot to list your apps or run a weekly review.
Claude
- In Claude (or Claude Desktop, depending on your plan), add a remote MCP connector.
- Paste the AdPilot MCP URL.
- Approve OAuth in the browser.
- Confirm the connector shows as connected, then ask for a portfolio review.
Cursor
- Open Cursor MCP settings.
- Add a new MCP server pointing at your AdPilot URL.
- Complete OAuth when Cursor opens the authorization page.
- In Agent chat, ask AdPilot to review a specific app’s campaigns.
Codex / other MCP clients
Any client that supports remote MCP over HTTP and OAuth can connect the same way: register the URL, finish OAuth, then call tools. If authorization fails, revoke the stale client on MCP Clients and reconnect.
After you connect
- Explore the ready-to-use workflows and example requests on the Skills page.
- Prefer read-only prompts until Apple Ads sync looks healthy on Connections.
- Mutation tools execute immediately after limits pass and return an
action_id. Open Changes for the full redacted audit record.
Worked example: verify a new client safely
After OAuth succeeds, ask: List my apps, Apple Ads connection status, campaign mappings, and latest complete metrics date. Do not make changes. A useful answer confirms the workspace and data coverage before you ask for analysis. If the client cannot list those resources, reconnect it rather than sharing credentials in chat.
How AdPilot uses client authorization
OAuth identifies the authorized user and MCP client for every request. AdPilot applies workspace membership, subscription entitlements, limits, and tool validation server-side, and records the client on finalized tool calls and direct-operation audit entries.
